Planning, meeting stuff from week four.

We had done the majority of the film editing and it was very successful. We thought that in order to make it a more believable opening we decided that we will use LiveType to create believable credits. We decided to use a bridge for one of the companies (Bridge Productions) to signify a key element in the film. Here the bridge is where Mary may or may not commit suicide and we did this to prepare the audience for the type of film.

Planning, meeting stuff from week three.

When we finished all the filming we looked back at what we had and discussed about what shots to use and how to overcome any difficulties such as the lighting. We then started to use Final Cut Express and tried out different shots and what order they should go in to make the sequence run smoothly.

Filming day 4.

We filmed the final and major scene at the bridge and we decided that this would be the scene the last scene in our opening sequence to create a cliffhanger. This would be when the audience would want to know what happens next. The filming experienced a few issues such as the sound in the background and because it was a metal bridge and the camera was on an tri-pod, the camera shook when the characters were running past. This however, can be sorted in the editing stage. Also the weather in this scene matched very nicely with the mood of the opening sequence.

Filming day 3.

We filmed the suicidal note scene over at Josie's house and we filmed her character, Mary, running into the house giving the letter to her brother who chases after her after discovering her attempt of suicide. I thought the filming went very well, despite the weather which we wished to have rained to match the mood of what is happening in the film. We produced some really good shots which I believe will go well in the opening sequence.

Planning, meeting stuff from week two.

We had already started shooting some of the flashback scenes which went very well. We than started planning our filming for when Mary going home and the bridge with her brother after her. When we were filming the flashback scenes there were some problems that we had to overcome such as the noise in the background. But we decided to over come this that we would mute the sound when it comes to our sound/editing stage.
